Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists and ensure accurate processing of prescriptions under direct supervision. You will assist with patient communications, medication preparation, inventory control, and handling REMS/investigational medications in accordance with USP and hospital policy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited technician program, and licensure eligibility in Florida.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or be eligible for licensure per Florida Statutes 465.014.
• Two years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT/RPT) with experience in unit dose, pharmacy orders, inventory systems, investigational or REMS medications, EHR, and preparation of sterile IV medications.
• Preferred CSPT or CPhT certification is a plus.
