Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the MAC locations, including South Shore, International Plaza, and Wesley Chapel. The role supports licensed pharmacists by handling medication orders and patient communications.

Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited technician program, hold licensure in Florida, and have experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding, REMS, and EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related field required.
• Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or licensure per Florida statutes.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida license.
• 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience including unit dose and REMS or investigational meds.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe medication orders into the computerized record system accurately.
• Fulfill medication orders with correct labeling and documentation.
• Non-sterile and sterile compounding per USP/GCP guidelines.
• Deliver medications while maintaining proper storage standards.
• Quality assurance and inventory management; travel to MAC locations as needed.
