Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Oncology in Fall River, MA. This per diem role supports daytime Oncology operations under supervision of the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Oncology management.

Requirements include MA registration as a Pharmacy Technician, PTCB certification within 18 months, and 1 year of related experience; vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• PTCB Certification required within 18 months of hire.
• One year of related work experience is required; three years preferred.
• Must be vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following USP 797/800 guidelines.
• Perform cleaning per guidelines and assist with purchasing supplies.
• Generate automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow-up.
