Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by filling orders, pre-packaging, compounding, stocking, delivering meds and performing clerical tasks in a day-shift outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Tech State NM license.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-sterile medication ordering, preparation and dispensing for inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Uses Pyxis, Pharmogistics, CII safe.
• Non-sterile compounding, labeling and repackaging.
• Non-sterile unit dose packaging, cart/tray/kit prep.
• Handles non-sterile hazardous medications and proper waste disposal.
• Maintains records for controlled/non-controlled substances and delivers supplies.
• Answers calls and manages stock and compliance with the Department plan.
