Job summary

The Clinical Pharmacist Program Lead at ProMedica Flower Hospital oversees development, implementation, and maintenance of systems to promote desirable patient outcomes using safe, cost-effective medication therapies.

This role requires a PharmD or BS Pharm with post-2006 experience, 5 years inpatient pharmacy practice, Michigan and Ohio licensure, and board certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS). It supports patient counseling and pharmacokinetic evaluation in a day-shift, full-time setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree or BS Pharm with post-2006 experience.
• Patient counseling, scientific writing, patient profile review, pharmacokinetic evaluation, superior time and project management, preceptorship, antimicrobial basic skills, evidence-based literature review.
• Narrow service area drug information for preparation, administration and delivery of medications; pharmacokinetic evaluation for narrow service area; time and project management; literature review.
• 5 years full-time inpatient pharmacy practice or PGY1 plus two years.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in good standing in Michigan and Ohio.
• Board Certification required (BLS, ACLS and/or PALS).
