Job summary

US Oncology Inc. seeks a Pharm/Admix Tech in Florida to support the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will prepare medications by compounding or admixing, verify orders, and ensure proper patient and physician information is recorded.

Responsibilities include IV admixtures, inventory control, temperature logging, and adherence to OSHA and department guidelines to support safe, accurate medication dispensing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a pharmacy with IV skills.
• IV certification is preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or State Pharmacy Board requirement recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Verifies patient information and physician authorization for orders.
• Checks orders for insurance approval before admixing and prepares drugs per guidelines.
• Maintains drug information, logs, and inventory, including temperature and lot numbers.
• Assists with labeling, billing, and data entry in pharmacy systems.
