Texas Oncology is seeking a registered pharmacist to join the Dallas Sammons Cancer Center location. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday with rotating shifts between 7:30am and 5:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Pharmacy and current state licensure, with oncology experience preferred. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, collaborating with clinicians, and ensuring safety and compliance across the department.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy plus current state licensure.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Pharmacist must be licensed in the state of practice.
• Experience with IV therapy and chemo prep is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and dispenses medications and maintains patient records.
• Collaborates with nursing and medical staff on prescriptions and drug interactions.
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory policies.
• Manages inventory, ordering, and medication labeling.
• Counsels patients on medications, side effects, and interactions.
• Mentors technicians and oversees workflow of the pharmacy.
• Performs IV admixture with proper safety procedures.
