Job summary
Texas Oncology is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to support the Dallas Sammons location. The role involves compounding and dispensing medications, consulting with nursing and medical staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Hours are 8:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with opportunities based on experience (Level 1, 2 or Sr). The ideal candidate will have a pharmacy degree, a current state license, and oncology experience; leadership capability to supervise technicians is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and current state licensure.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Leadership potential to supervise pharmacy technicians.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications according to professional standards.
- Consult with nursing and medical staff on prescriptions and drug interactions.
- Monitor compliance with regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain patient medication records and inventory.
- Provide drug information to clinicians and patients.
- Participate in quality assurance and safety programs.
