Job summary

Tennessee Oncology in Murfreesboro is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate a hybrid PET/CT scanner and perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging under the Director of Imaging.

You will follow NRC/state regulations, ensure safe handling of radioactive isotopes, explain procedures to patients, and mentor new staff while delivering high-quality care. ARRT NM/CT or NMTCB PET certification is required, CT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT CT certification preferred; NMTCB or ARRT PET/NM certification required.
• Experience with PET/CT imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hybrid PET/CT scanner to perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging.
• Follow NRC and state licensing guidelines for handling radioactive isotopes.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns; mentor new staff.
