Job summary

Sentara Brock Cancer Center in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Palliative Care Navigator-Oncology Nurse Navigator. This full-time role manages care for oncology patients in the Hampton Roads area within a state-of-the-art center that opened in 2020 and is a regional hub of the Sentara Cancer Network.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license and complete required certifications within 12 months; three years of clinical nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (multistate compact or Virginia).
• OCN or CBCN certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate palliative care and oncology nursing services for patients.
• Collaborate with Sentara Cancer Network clinicians and specialists.
• Support patient and family navigation through treatment and survivorship.
