Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. seeks a Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology, to join a dedicated unit providing compassionate, high-quality care to oncology patients.

Requirements include current Illinois RN licensure, ADN or BSN preferred, CPR certification, and oncology infusion center experience of at least 1 year. OCN/ONS certification is preferred. You may float to Kellogg Cancer Centers as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure is required.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current CPR certification; OCN/ONS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center; ED, ICU, or PACU experience highly preferred if no oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for oncology patients on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
