Job summary

Orlando Health Cancer Institute, part of Orlando Health, Inc., seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee clinical operations within assigned practice settings, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and timely access.

You will work with managers and physicians to design and evaluate care models, promote evidence-based standards, and mentor staff while maintaining regulatory compliance andPatient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Science in Nursing required.
• Two years of RN experience in acute or ambulatory care.
• Florida RN license or eNLC multistate license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• May require ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC depending on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering and managing patient care following physician orders and standards of practice.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory policies for assigned areas.
• Collaborate with manager and physicians to design care delivery models and improve outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice and optimal patient flow in ambulatory nursing care.
• Coordinate staffing to meet daily patient needs and budget considerations.
• Support change, mentor team members, and participate in process improvements.
• Advocate for patients, families, and staff; maintain professional relationships.
• Monitor costs and assist in budgeting to meet financial goals.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to support operations.
