Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix is seeking an RN Clinical Education Specialist to plan, develop and conduct education for clinicians, providers and other staff, enhancing clinical practice and patient outcomes.

The role supports onboarding, clinical academies and ongoing regulatory education, with a hybrid work location and travel as needed. Requirements include current RN licensure, BLS, a BSN plus 3–5 years acute care experience, and comfort with education technology and adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is required
• Current RN licensure in state of practice; BLS certification required
• Three to five years of work experience in a specialty area or as an education coordinator/instructor in a healthcare environment
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain Banner Behavioral Health settings
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and computer skills; strong organization and communication skills

• Plan, develop and conduct education for clinicians, providers and other staff
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and guide leadership based on results
• Design and deliver clinical curriculum, onboarding and ongoing educational programs
• Coordinate onboarding, clinical academies and competency development
