Job summary

Banner Health's Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an RN Certified Specialist to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for a specialized population. This role integrates education for patients and staff and provides coaching to enhance care delivery.

The position requires OCN and strong clinical leadership, with a day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), Monday–Friday and some flexibility. Bachelor’s degree in nursing and active RN license are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare or related field.
Current RN license in state of practice; BLS certification.
Certification in specialty area such as wound/ostomy, diabetic care, or pain management.
2–3 years of experience in the clinical area of specialty.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire.

Responsibilities

Assess, develop, implement, and develop patient care plans for a specialized population.
Integrate education for patients and staff; coaching to enhance care.
Provide specialty nursing consultation on complex cases and evaluate outcomes.
Collaborate with staff to improve quality and cost in clinical care.
Stay current on developments and update practice, policies, and procedures.
