Tennessee Oncology, a leading community-based cancer care provider in Nashville, seeks an Education Specialist to develop and deliver education programs for our care teams. You will assess training needs, coordinate curricula, mentor staff, and ensure evidence-based practice across clinical areas to improve patient care and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree, have recent staff education experience, and can obtain chemotherapy certification within 3 months.

Formación

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Recent experience with staff health care education required.
• Chemotherapy Certification required within 3 months of meeting certification requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement an organization-wide education plan for team members and providers.
• Teach and organize classroom and clinical education programs.
• Coordinate and participate in new hire and annual competency education/evaluations/validations.
• Maintain competency as an expert resource for required technical skills and theoretical/didactic knowledge.
