Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support at an outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic, onsite at the hospital. Start ASAP with regular 8-hour shifts; full-time coverage is needed each month.

NPs must hold AOCNP certification and BLS. AMN coordinates malpractice insurance and travel/lodging arrangements for contractors, supporting healthcare organizations in delivering quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP (APN) or PA with current KY license.
• AOCNP certification required for NPs.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Hematology/Oncology patient management and care coordination.

Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 8;This facility is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Outpatient clinic coverage. May consider Monday-Wednesday coverage with 10-hour shifts. Full-time coverage needed each month. Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic located onsite at the hospital.

Hematology and Oncology patient management, infusion suite management, patient assessments, review and communication of lab results, in-basket management, and triage collaboration with the oncology navigator. Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.

Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification required (for NPs) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
