Job summary

Duke Center for Onco-Primary Care seeks APPs (NP/PA) to deliver outpatient cancer survivorship and screening services. You will work across adult cancer survivor care, evaluating patients and coordinating care with oncology and primary care teams.

Responsibilities include survivorship planning, shared decision-making for multi-cancer tests, and coordinating care in a hybrid work setting with 1–2 remote days weekly.

Qualifications

• APP experience preferred; new grads welcomed to apply by May 2025.
• Education requirements for NP or PA as stated in the ad.
• Licensure and board certification requirements listed per role.
• Administrative and documentation duties include form completion and sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, conduct physical exams, and document care.
• Create survivorship care plans addressing long-term effects of cancer treatment.
• Collaborate with primary care in a shared care model.
• Review labs and pathology reports; communicate findings to team and patients.
• Coordinate scheduling to maintain efficient clinic operations.
• Complete forms requiring supervisor signing and approvals.
