Job summary

Duke Clinical Research Institute seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver high-quality, direct patient care within Duke Health's inpatient oncology setting. You will collaborate with attending physicians, manage clinical data, order tests, and coordinate consultations to optimize patient outcomes.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in education, research, and CME activities while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with Duke policies.

Qualifications

• Education must include NP or PA training per role.
• Certification as NP or PA-C; BLS/ACLS as applicable.
• NC license or eligibility for Nurse Practitioner/PA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of patient care across cancer diagnosis continuum.
• Elicit patient histories and perform thorough examinations.
• Order diagnostic imaging and tests; interpret results.
