Job summary

Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for the full-time night shift (7pm-7am) in 4 West Med/Surg Oncology. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients, administer medications, and document care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NJ RN licensure, and BLS. Preferred BSN or higher and 1 year of nursing experience. Weekend/holiday rotations required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; BSN within five years for ASN holders.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
