Job summary

Regions Hospital in Minnesota is seeking an experienced RN to join the Cancer Care Center as a full-time Nurse Navigator. The Oncology Nurse Navigator acts as a patient advocate and care coordinator from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, or end-of-life care, guiding care plans and facilitating timely access to services.

The role requires strong oncology nursing experience, MN or WI RN license upon hire, and BLS.

Qualifications

• RN license in Minnesota or Wisconsin required at hire, with proof of application.
• 2 years oncology nursing experience (medical, surgical, radiation or infusion).
• OCN certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years of hire, or completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing hours per ACC cycle.
• BLS provider status per AHA guidelines; online BLS not accepted.
• OCN certification deadline for current colleagues: July 1, 2028.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and coordinate care across the cancer continuum.
• Provide clinical guidance, emotional support, and logistical assistance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely access to services and reduce barriers to care.
