VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Richmond is seeking a Nurse Patient Navigator to support Benign/Hematology. You will advocate, educate, and guide patients through their treatment journey within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure, oncology nursing experience preferred, strong communication, collaboration, and compassionate, patient-centered care, with opportunities for professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia or compact state.
• Experience in oncology nursing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Serve as advocate, interpreter, educator, and counselor for patients in the patient population.
• Manage the care of assigned patients, ensuring access to comprehensive healthcare and ancillary services.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients and their caregivers, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize clinical nursing knowledge and skills in all aspects of care management.
