Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our onsite team in Goodyear, AZ. You will coordinate care across diagnoses, educate patients on treatment plans, and support families throughout the cancer journey.

The role requires hospital nursing experience, nurse navigator background preferred, an AZ RN license or compact state license, and BLS certification. You will work M-F, 8:00-4:30p, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in hospital, Breast and/or nurse navigator
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Arizona Registered Nurse License or a Registered Nurse License from a Compact State
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and coordinates services to meet needs including medications, equipment, and home care services.
• Administer medications via all routes with the 6 rights and monitor for side effects.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, financial implications, symptoms, and home resources.
• Coordinate care with physicians, technicians, and ancillary nursing staff to positively impact patient care.
