Job summary

Clearview Cancer Institute in north Alabama seeks a Nurse Navigator to coordinate patient care within the RN scope, supporting families and collaborating with oncologists and infusion teams.

Qualifications

• AL RN license is required.
• Oncology or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and chemotherapy certification/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate primary physician patients and provide education to patients and families.
• Perform telephone assessments and coordinate care plans within RN scope.
• Act as liaison between infusion nursing and providers; manage referrals.
• Monitor schedule changes, tests, and discharge planning with treating physicians.
• Assist in end-of-life coordination and provide emotional support.
