Job summary

Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, the cancer division of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator based at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, GA. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to guide cancer patients from diagnosis through active treatment.

You will build relationships with patients and physicians, coordinate plans of care, educate patients, and ensure adherence to treatment, with emphasis on communication and resource connection within a high-quality oncology

Qualifications

RN licensure required; BCLS certification preferred.
3–5 years of oncology nursing experience.
Experience as a nurse navigator and/or patient educator in oncology preferred.
Experience in leadership and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between patient, family and multidisciplinary providers to ensure communication.
Act as patient advocate from diagnosis through active treatment.
Assess medical, social, and psychosocial needs and link to resources.
Provide teaching, outreach, and support to patients and families.
Conduct follow‑up with patients and relay concerns to care teams.
