Job summary

Summit Cancer Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for the Effingham Cancer Care Center. The role oversees daily operations, collaborates with Effingham Health System leadership, and ensures efficient patient services across infusion, clinic, lab, and registration.

The Nurse Manager will supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, ensure policy adherence, and drive process improvements, maintaining a patient-centered environment and a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Education requirements: ADN and/or BSN in nursing.
• Bachelor’s or higher preferred for nursing/healthcare.
• Relevant certifications may be required for oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the practice and supervises personnel.
• Leads by example to foster a positive teamwork environment.
• Coordinates staffing, scheduling, and coverage for infusion and clinical areas.
• Reviews staff performance and participates in salary decisions.
• Recruits, hires, and retains staff in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensures high-quality patient care and timely issue resolution.
