HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee is seeking a Registered Nurse Oncology to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.

You will assess, administer medications, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients while upholding nursing standards and the hospital's mission.

This role supports evidence-based practice and participation in hospital councils and nursing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate care, respond to patient requests, and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, meds, side effects, and follow-up measures.
