Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is recruiting an RN for Medical-Surgical Oncology to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models to ensure outstanding patient experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, prompt response to patient requests, and patient/family education.

Qualifications

• RN license or APRN credential required.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Provide timely documentation in the medical record and communicate patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
