Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. seeks an experienced oncology RN to deliver professional cancer care in an office setting and educate patients on oral chemotherapy plans. You will support physicians during procedures, administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and manage prescribing prerequisites within the EHR.

Requires SC RN license, BLS/CPR, and ongoing oncology certifications; strong communication, triage, and patient education skills are essential for high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina license as a Registered Nurse (SC RN).
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS and CPR certification; National Oncology Certification within 2 years.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of cancer therapy.
• Proficient in PICC line care, VAD care, and Hickman/Broviac care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and education for oral chemotherapy plans in an office setting.
• Assist physicians with procedures; administer injections; document in medical records.
• Triage patients by phone and in person; educate on medications using teach-back.
• Process chemotherapy orders; monitor infusion sites; document dosing in EHR.
• Coordinate referrals to social work, navigator, dietician; pre-certifications.
• Maintain exam rooms; manage supplies; ensure OSHA/CLIA compliance.
