Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County is hiring a Nurse Assistant for the MS1D Med/Surg Oncology unit. This full-time role supports RN-directed patient care and participates in rounding, safety checks, and care activities for oncology patients.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, PA CNA or nursing clinical rotations, BLS, and relevant experience or EMT certification. Shift is Day (7am-7:30pm) at St. Mary Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• PA Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) OR completed minimum one semester of clinical rotations.
• 1 year of relevant experience and/or EMT certification considered in lieu of CNA/rotations.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct and indirect patient care under RN directions and physician orders.
• Obtain supplies to ensure rooms are ready and cleared after discharge/transfer.
• Demonstrates ability to feed patients and track intake/output.
• Collects specimens (urine, stool, etc.) and handles routine tasks.
• Assists with heat/cold packs and basic orthopedic devices as needed.
• Participates in hourly rounding to enhance patient safety and comfort; assists with toileting and turns.
