Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License (PA).
• AHA BLS certification.
• Chemo certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and educates patients, considering age and culture.
• Documents admission assessments, plans, interventions and medications.
• Uses the information system to document patient status and communicate with the care team.
• Transfers patient responsibility and pertinent information during rounds.
• Recognizes special needs and refers for abuse issues when needed.
• Incorporates pain management and supportive care into the plan.
• Maintains infection control standards and a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
