Job summary

University Medical Partners in Pleasanton, CA, partnered with Stanford Medicine, seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a multidisciplinary oncology team. The role is clinic- and infusion-based, with supervision of infusion activities and collaboration with RNs.

Ideal candidates hold CA NP/PA licensure, board certification, and at least two years of PA/NP experience; oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license.
• Board-certified in nursing or PA practice.
• Minimum two years of PA or NP experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR.
• Experience in a multi-specialty group or integrated health care system.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of medical oncologists in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform follow-ups for patients on active therapy or surveillance.
• Supervise the infusion room and coordinate with RNs to manage side effects.
• Conduct cancer therapy education visits with patients and families.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as needed; triage urgent patient needs.
• Clinic-based care, infusion center supervision, care coordination, and inbox management.
