Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Oncology care team in San Francisco. You will work closely with nationally recognized physicians and clinicians in a collaborative environment, delivering high-quality inpatient oncology care.

Candidates should have a California NP or PA license and a focus on oncology, with a path toward advanced practice certification.

Qualifications

• Education: MSN or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus in Adult-Gerontology, Family, or Acute Care NP; Oncology Nurse certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new inpatient consults from ED or hospitalists with direct patient assessment.
• Perform daily rounds, order/interpret studies, and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Prescribe/monitor chemotherapy and supportive therapies under Oncology supervision.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and ensure safe transitions of care.
