Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in California seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality advanced nursing care within regulatory standards and NP scope. You will conduct patient evaluations, education, interventions, and document care plans, coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include consultations, independent practice possibilities, and care for diverse age groups. On-site position with typical hospital hours and potential on-call time.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing (MSN) or DNP required.
• Completion of proctoring by Medical Staff Office.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the care and management of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality advanced nursing care within the scope of nurse practitioner license.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for evaluations, interventions, and plan of care.
• Document plans of care and progress notes; requests consultations as needed.
• May work as an independent provider and/or under indirect supervision of a supervising physician.
• May treat a variety of age populations.
