Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Medical Oncology at the Brooklyn Ambulatory Care Center. The NP will provide, coordinate, and assure comprehensive nursing care within a collaborative practice with an on-site physician.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner licensure in NYS.
• Master's degree required.
• ANCC or equivalent certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and assure comprehensive nursing care.
• Diagnose and treat within a collaborative practice agreement.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for clinical studies and protocols.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per NYS law and practice protocols.
• Ensure continuity of care across services and settings.
