Job summary

theMednet in Ohio is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive cancer care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and symptom management within a multidisciplinary team.

You will educate patients and families, prescribe and manage medications within scope, and ensure regulatory compliance and HIPAA standards while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license.
• APRN license in good standing with Ohio.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain before prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology patients within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement individualized oncology care plans.
• Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
• Manage cancer- and treatment-related symptoms.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to safety standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and clinical regulatory requirements.
