Job summary

Edward-Elmhurst Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Oncology Nights at Evanston Hospital. You will work under a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care, including vital signs, EKGs, Foley care, and daily patient assistance, with rotating weekends and night shifts.

The role requires CNA training or nursing rotation experience, and current BLS for Healthcare Providers. Eligible to work in the U.S. are required; great teamwork and patient-focused care are essential.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. and CNA training or nursing clinical rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, deliver patient care.
• Assist with vital signs, EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley removal, specimen collection, bathing, turning, and hourly rounding.
• Assist with care plans and discharge prep as delegated by the RN.
• Support safety and high-quality patient experience on the unit.
