Job summary

MJH Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Medical Writer to join the Clinical Communications team. You will develop peer-reviewed manuscripts, slide decks, and video content across oncology, working with a team of writers, editors, and project managers.

The role requires deep oncology knowledge, strong scientific writing ability, and the capacity to manage multiple deliverables through review cycles with precision. Travel is expected to be under 10%.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health sciences (MS/PhD or PharmD).
• Minimum 2 years of medical writing experience in medical communications.
• Familiarity with oncology writing and subject matter.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and InCopy.
• Ability to apply AI tools responsibly in regulated environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to scientific accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive literature review across disease states and clinical data to support content development.
• Synthesize evidence-based literature and practice guidelines across therapeutic areas.
• Develop accurate written content for digital, video, and event deliverables with proper references.
• Manage content through full lifecycle, incorporating faculty and peer review comments.
• Conduct global fact-checks to ensure scientific accuracy of all deliverables.
• Assist in preparation of promotional educational materials compliant with FDA regulations.
• Use AI tools to accelerate literature search and draft development with rigorous verification.
• Attend conferences to capture highlights; travel less than 10 percent.
