Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a healthcare-related field (life sciences, biomedical sciences) or a clinical degree (PharmD).
• 1-2 years of medical writing experience in the health care communications industry.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software (Adobe Acrobat tools, InCopy).
• Proficiency in AI-powered tools and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, Copilot); ability to leverage AI to enhance content creation, campaign optimization, and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Content Development: Conduct extensive literature reviews on various disease states, therapeutic advancements, and clinical data.
• Comprehend and apply evidence-based medical literature, guidelines, and disease-state information for development across therapeutic areas.
• Develop relevant, accurate content that adheres to in-house and AMA style guidelines.
• Write, edit, and revise content independently throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating feedback from faculty and internal teams.
• Support the preparation of promotional educational materials that comply with pharmaceutical standards and FDA regulations.
• Attend professional conferences to capture highlights and create content for deliverables (minimal travel).
• Interface with internal stakeholders and faculty during meetings and project discussions.
