Job summary

Amgen Inc. in the United States is seeking an Oncology Medical Science Liaison to engage with healthcare decision makers across DC, VA, Baltimore and Western MD, communicating Amgens scientific platform and data related to prostate cancer.

The MSL will build scientific relationships with academic medical centers, support sponsored and investigator-initiated research, mentor other MSLs, and contribute to value discussions with payers while upholding Amgens values and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or Masters with 3 years Medical Affairs experience or Bachelors with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Oncology Healthcare Decision Makers to communicate and advance Amgen's scientific platform, particularly in prostate cancer.
• Provide scientific and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers.
• Identify and train members of Amgen's speakersureau and ensure they are updated on new data.
• Support Amgen sponsored research and respond to investigator-initiated research proposals.
• Mentor MSLs and lead/take part in committees or projects supporting MSL strategies.
