Job summary

Amgen seeks an Oncology Medical Science Liaison to engage Healthcare Decision Makers across DC, VA, and MD. You will communicate and advance our scientific platform in prostate cancer, delivering value-based information to academic centers and payers, while building trusted relationships.

In this role you will identify speakers, support investigator-initiated research, and train field colleagues. A doctoral or equivalent degree with medical affairs experience is required, with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Masters degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelors degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers.
• Identify and train members of Amgen's speakers bureau and ensure they are updated on new data.
• Respond to requests for investigator sponsored research proposals.
• Support Amgen sponsored research.
• Provide scientific support for inquiries in line with MSL standards.
• Foster scientific relationships with Fellows in training.
• Lead or participate on committees or project teams for MSL strategies.
• Mentor MSLs as designated by leadership.
• Support the MSL value proposition and demonstrate Amgen leadership values.
• Demonstrate tact and professionalism in communications.
