Medical Oncology Locum Opportunity - Spokane, Washington (IMLC Welcome)Position Type: Locum TenensSpecialty: Medical Oncology

Overview:A facility in Spokane, Washington is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist for an ongoing locum need. This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and hospital call, with a supportive team and a manageable patient load.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Schedule: Monday through Friday - outpatient clinic with hospital call

• Call Responsibility: Clinic call only (phone and hospital), approx. 5% callback

• Call Volume: 25% Hematology, 75% Oncology

• Response Time Requirement: 30 minutes

Clinical Scope:

• Patient Load: 15-20 patients per day

• Consults: 2 new consults per day

• Patient Mix: Hematology and solid tumor cases

• Admitting Provider: Oncologist or APP

• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

• Facility is stroke certified; Trauma Level II

• EMR: Epic

• Assigned and unassigned patients

• Facility is open to multiple providers

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology

• Fellowship training preferred

• Active Washington medical license required (IMLC accepted)

• ABLS and ACLS certifications required
