Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist Oncologist to join a well-established cancer program at Pottsville Cancer Clinic in Pottsville, PA. We offer a unique opportunity for both early career and experienced hematology-oncology physicians to develop their careers within a growing, physician-led organization. Our providers collaborate with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver quality cancer care.
Our environment includes the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, over 50 graduate medical education programs, and fellowship programs in hematology/oncology and palliative medicine. The system is awarded NCI-NCORP designation and actively participates in cancer clinical trials. We emphasize innovative education, active learning, and community engagement.
Providers work with fellows and residents to train future hematology and oncology physicians and may participate in educational activities at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Our patients contribute to the MyCode Community Health Initiative with over 275,000 sequenced genomes for research and clinical applications. Clinical and informatics research collaborations are encouraged to benefit patients and the scientific community.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
