Seeking a BC/BE Breast Oncologist

We are looking for a BC/BE Breast Oncologist to lead and coordinate breast cancer care in south-central Pennsylvania.

Role Overview:

The Chief of Breast Medical Oncology will oversee the delivery of inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring compliance with standards set by JCAHO and other regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Chair of Medical Oncology and the Chairman of the Cancer Centers in coordinating the community and faculty mission.
2. Lead the conduct and coordination of breast cancer care.
3. Participate in regular review and evaluation of patient care quality and appropriateness through designated medical staff mechanisms.
4. Contribute to Division budget planning and report preparation for the Breast Cancer program.
5. Develop programs and services to meet oncology patients' needs.
6. Define the scope of general oncology practice at the hospital, aligning with its mission and strategic goals, and advocate for oncology services.
7. Assess cost-effectiveness of oncology practices and recommend resource optimization without compromising care quality.
