Healthcare System is seeking a Board Certified Regional Medical Director of Oncology to join its team.

System Overview

Offers innovative hematology and oncology care within an integrated healthcare system, featuring services such as a comprehensive breast service line, new GI lab, interventional radiology, PET/CT, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, and a lung center.

Clinical Details:

1. Collaborative team comprising 4 hematology-oncology physicians and 7 advanced practice providers delivering multidisciplinary care.
2. Services include immunotherapy, management of solid tumors, chemotherapy, and blood cancers.
3. Support staff includes onsite RN supervisor and oncology-certified or eligible RNs.
4. Shared call coverage with physician group.

Administrative Details:

1. Previous Medical Director experience (5-10 years preferred) is required.
2. Workload split of approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative.
3. Board certified in hematology/oncology.
4. Expected on-site presence at all locations at least monthly, within a 30-minute drive from the main location.
5. Oversee system/region oncology services.
6. Demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with all departments, physicians, and staff within and outside of oncology across the Penn Highlands system.
