Qualifications

• Must have an associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (or grandfathered CLA programs).
• Current licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Tennessee required for TN-based positions.
• Military medical laboratory program graduation accepted as substitution.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate laboratory testing of patient specimens under supervision.
• Report test results promptly according to procedures.
• Adhere to quality control, compliance regulations and SOPs.
• Assist in managing lab resources, instruments and workflow for efficiency.
• Maintain safety standards with hazardous materials and specimens.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
