Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Bardmoor Office is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with procedures, perform phlebotomy and routine lab work, and maintain equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, patient care, and the ability to work across locations.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of MA experience in a clinic, hold a High School diploma or GED, and be BLS certified within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment (FCS provides course).
• One year experience as a medical assistant in clinic or physician’s office with venipuncture preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to multiple clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in the office.
• Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting and maintenance.
