Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy clinic setting. The role involves phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, and instrument maintenance to ensure accurate results and smooth patient flow.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of MA experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a BLS certification (or willingness to obtain). Florida driver’s license for clinic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office.
• Ability to perform venipunctures and basic phlebotomy.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
• Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Safely manage patient flow and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
