Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) certification required or the ability to obtain within 90 days.

• Compassionate, team-oriented personality with adaptability.
• EMR experience and computer proficiency are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and between patients.
• Room patients and record vital signs and assessments.
• Manage patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Handle phone calls, referrals, and patient result notifications.
• Set up orders for transfusions, hospital admissions, phlebotomy, and more.
• Monitor prescription folders and assist with drug replacement programs.
• Coordinate special testing and physician requests.
