Texas Oncology in Austin is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for a full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm role at the South Austin location. The position is level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience and involves direct patient care, clinic support, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 0–3 years MA/nursing aide experience, and must obtain BCLS within 3 months. CMA certification is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 0-3 years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
• Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record patient data prior to visits (vital signs, height, weight, allergies).
• Obtain necessary patient records before treatment.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Administer injections as delegated and maintain room cleanliness.
