Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our South Austin team in a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am–5:00pm). The role supports clinical and clerical tasks in a busy oncology setting, with opportunities to learn and grow within a high-touch care environment.

The ideal candidate will have entry to Sr level experience, current BCLS, and CMA certification preferred. This position emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Entry level to senior MA roles with varying experience levels.
• Ability to assist physicians and clinicians with patient care.
• Basic clinical and clerical duties in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients between rooms and exam areas.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, and allergies.
• Prepare exam/treatment rooms and stock supplies.
• Administer injections as delegated by RN or physician.
• Maintain infection control and room cleanliness.
• Handle phone calls and patient communication as directed.
